Creating Awareness, Building Trust: POSH Training at SNEH International School

Creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace begins with awareness. Keeping this objective in mind, Madhuri Varshney conducted a POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Awareness Training for the staff of SNEH International School.

The interactive session introduced participants to the key provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, helping them understand their rights, responsibilities, and the importance of maintaining a workplace built on dignity and mutual respect.

The training covered:

  • Understanding what constitutes sexual harassment
  • Recognizing acceptable and unacceptable workplace behaviour
  • Roles and responsibilities of employees and the Internal Committee (IC)
  • Complaint and redressal procedures under the POSH Act
  • Practical workplace scenarios and preventive measures

Participants actively engaged in discussions and shared questions, making the session both informative and relevant to the school environment. Through real-life examples and interactive conversations, the workshop reinforced that creating a safe workplace is a shared responsibility.

Rise Foundation is proud to support educational institutions through impactful POSH awareness programmes that promote legal compliance while fostering a culture of trust, respect, and inclusion.
