Painting Competition

  • Date: 4 Aug 2018
  • Topic: Painting Competition
  • Category: Art & Culture
  • Location: Abhiyan Apartment, Sector 12, Dwarka

One of the great challenges today is that we often feel untouched by the problems of others and by global issues like climate change, women empowerment, education etc., even when we could easily do something to help. We need to feel strongly enough that we are part of a global community, part of a larger we. This is where art can make a difference. It can make the world felt.  Art opens everything up to such a bigger spectrum of people.

Team RISE Foundation has been trying its subtle ways to bring people together to create awareness and belongingness and this time it chose Painting as a medium.

Painting Competition

On Friendship Day 4th Aug 2019 and remembering 73rd Independence Day, Team RISE Foundation organised drawing competition in Abhiyan Apartment, Sector 12, Dwarka under the guidance of our Art expert Mrs Monita Dhingra. The participants gave life to their imagination and exploration creating magical expressions on paper. It was amazing to watch how little artists creatively portrayed their hearts and minds wondrously. The competition was like an extravagance for the little painters and the spectators as well, as they used their brilliance of painting blended with the perceptions displayed on the painting sheet.
