On 25 September 2026, Rise Foundation, in association with Village Kanganheri RWA and supported by ONGC Videsh under Swachhata Hi Seva, organized a community plantation drive in Kanganheri Village.
The plantation activity was carried out on both sides of the road from Kanganheri towards Badusarai, with enthusiastic participation from local villagers. A particularly inspiring part of the activity was the involvement of elderly women from the village, who actively participated in planting and contributing to the greening of their surroundings. 🌿
Their participation reminds us that environmental action has no age limit. When local communities come together, even a roadside stretch can become the beginning of a greener and healthier landscape.
The initiative aims to encourage community ownership, greener villages, improved local surroundings and greater awareness of environmental sustainability.
🌳 Plant a tree. Involve the community. Grow a greener future.
