Through SoilQ – The Soil Testing Center, Rise Foundation, in collaboration with Soil Doctor by Ekosight, is empowering farmers, communities, and institutions with scientific soil insights to restore fertility and build long-term resilience.
SoilQ provides AI-powered testing of 14 critical soil parameters (NO₃⁻, NH₄⁺, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, Zn, Fe, B, pH, EC, Organic Carbon, CEC) , delivering results within 48 hours to help decision-makers take timely and informed actions for effective soil conservation.

Carbon Sequestration Calculation for 40,000 Native Trees

- Estimated Carbon Sequestration Rate:
- Based on data specific to Indian native species in dense Miyawaki forests, each tree can sequester around 10–15 kg of CO₂ per year after the forest is fully established (2–3 years of initial growth).
- Native trees like Neem, Peepal, and Banyan can actually sequester at higher rates due to their biomass and growth patterns. The average rate for this forest type could be estimated at 12.5 kg of CO₂ per tree per year.
- Calculation for 40,000 Plants: 40,000 trees×12.5 kg CO₂/tree/year=500,000 kg CO₂/year. This equates to 500 metric tons of CO₂ per year
